Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Arrive Guwahati

   Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, transfer to hotel. Later visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Shakti Peethas in India. In the evening guests may enjoy an optional sunset Brahmaputra River Cruise. Overnight at Guwahati.

2. 2

   Guwahati → Shillong

   After breakfast proceed towards Shillong through the scenic Khasi Hills. Enroute visit the beautiful Umiam Lake surrounded by pine-covered landscapes. By evening arrive at Shillong and explore the lively Police Bazaar area filled with cafés, shopping and local food. Overnight at Shillong.

3. 3

   Dawki & Mawlynnong Excursion

   Full day excursion to Dawki and Mawlynnong. Visit the crystal clear Umngot River at Dawki where boats appear to float on transparent waters. Continue towards the Indo-Bangladesh Border before visiting Mawlynnong Village, popularly known as Asia's cleanest village. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

4. 4

   Shillong → Cherrapunji Excursion

   After breakfast proceed towards Cherrapunji. Enroute visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak (subject to permission) and Mawkdok Valley Viewpoint. Later sightseeing covers Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park. Overnight at Cherrapunji.

5. 5

   Shillong → Guwahati · Departure

   After breakfast drive back to Guwahati. Depending on departure timing, free for leisure or local sightseeing. Later transfer to Airport / Railway Station for onward journey with beautiful memories of Northeast India.
