Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Arrive Guwahati · Transfer to Kaziranga

   Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, proceed towards Kaziranga National Park through the countryside of Assam. Optional Assamese cultural programme available on direct payment basis. Overnight at Kaziranga.

2. 2

   Optional Kaziranga Safari · Kaziranga → Shillong

   Guests who have pre-booked a Jeep Safari may take the early morning safari, subject to park operation and availability. Safari charges are not included unless specifically selected in the quotation. After breakfast proceed towards Shillong through the scenic Khasi Hills with a stop at Umiam Lake. Evening at Police Bazaar. Overnight at Shillong.

3. 3

   Cherrapunji Excursion

   Full day excursion to Cherrapunji. En route visit Elephant Falls and Mawkdok Valley Viewpoint. Later sightseeing covers Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

4. 4

   Dawki & Mawlynnong Excursion

   Full day excursion to Dawki and Mawlynnong. Visit the Umngot River at Dawki; water clarity is generally best during the drier winter season and varies with rainfall and river conditions. Continue to the Indo-Bangladesh Border before visiting Mawlynnong Village. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

5. 5

   Shillong → Guwahati

   After breakfast drive back to Guwahati. Visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple and, depending on timing, enjoy an optional sunset Brahmaputra River Cruise. Overnight at Guwahati.

6. 6

   Guwahati Departure

   After breakfast transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey. Departure timing is flexible as the hotel is close to the airport and station.
