Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Arrive Guwahati

   Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, transfer to hotel. Visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple depending on arrival timing. Optional sunset Brahmaputra River Cruise available. Overnight at Guwahati.

2. 2

   Guwahati → Kaziranga

   After breakfast proceed towards Kaziranga National Park through the scenic countryside of Assam. By evening arrive at Kaziranga. Optional Assamese cultural programme available on direct payment basis. Overnight at Kaziranga.

3. 3

   Kaziranga Safari Experience

   Early morning Jeep Safari inside Kaziranga National Park, famous for the one-horned rhinoceros. Optional Elephant Safari subject to availability. Later visit Orchid Park, Vintage Car Museum and local handicraft centres. Optional second Jeep Safari in another range. Overnight at Kaziranga.

4. 4

   Kaziranga → Shillong

   After breakfast proceed towards Shillong through scenic hill landscapes. Enroute visit the beautiful Umiam Lake surrounded by pine-covered hills. Evening free at Police Bazaar. Overnight at Shillong.

5. 5

   Cherrapunji Excursion

   Explore the breathtaking landscapes of Cherrapunji, famous for dramatic cliffs, waterfalls and mist-covered valleys. Enroute visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak (subject to permission) and Mawkdok Valley Viewpoint. Later sightseeing covers Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

6. 6

   Dawki & Mawlynnong Excursion

   Full day excursion to Dawki and Mawlynnong. Visit the crystal clear Umngot River at Dawki and the Indo-Bangladesh Border area. Later explore Mawlynnong Village, popularly known as Asia's cleanest village. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

7. 7

   Shillong → Guwahati · Departure

   After breakfast drive back to Guwahati. Later transfer to Airport / Railway Station for onward journey with beautiful memories of Northeast India.
