Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Guwahati – Shillong

   Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and drive to Shillong. En route visit the beautiful Umiam Lake. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight Stay: Shillong.

2. 2

   Shillong – Cherrapunji via Mawphlang

   After breakfast, proceed towards Cherrapunji. En route visit the famous Mawphlang Sacred Forest, known for its rich biodiversity and cultural significance. Continue through scenic viewpoints offering beautiful views of valleys and waterfalls before reaching Cherrapunji. Overnight Stay: Cherrapunji.

3. 3

   Cherrapunji Sightseeing

   Explore the natural attractions of Cherrapunji including Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Eco Park and Garden of Caves. Overnight Stay: Cherrapunji.

4. 4

   Cherrapunji Exploration & Optional Double Decker Trek

   After breakfast, continue exploring Cherrapunji. Guests may undertake the optional trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village (subject to fitness level and operational conditions). Overnight Stay: Cherrapunji.

5. 5

   Cherrapunji – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong

   After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong Village and continue to Dawki. Visit the Umngot River; water clarity is generally best during the drier winter season and varies with rainfall and river conditions. Visit the Indo-Bangladesh Border area. Optional boating may be enjoyed on direct payment basis. Later drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

6. 6

   Shillong – Kaziranga

   After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight Stay: Kaziranga.

7. 7

   Kaziranga National Park

   Jeep Safari(s) in Kaziranga National Park may be arranged on direct payment basis, subject to park operation and availability. Guests may also visit Orchid Park and attend the cultural programme on direct payment basis. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

8. 8

   Kaziranga – Guwahati Departure

   After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Tour Ends.
