Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Arrival in Guwahati

   Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and transfer to the hotel. Depending on arrival time, visit Kamakhya Temple. Optional sunset Brahmaputra River cruise may be enjoyed on direct payment basis. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

2. 2

   Guwahati → Kaziranga National Park

   After breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park through the countryside of Assam. On arrival check in at the resort. Later visit the Orchid Park / local area if time permits. Optional Assamese cultural programme may be enjoyed in the evening on direct payment basis. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

3. 3

   Kaziranga National Park

   If a Jeep Safari has been selected in the quotation, proceed for the early morning safari inside Kaziranga National Park, subject to park operation and availability. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later visit nearby tea gardens, local handicraft centres or Orchid Park. An optional second Jeep Safari may be arranged on direct payment basis. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

4. 4

   Kaziranga → Kohima

   After breakfast drive to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. The journey is a long interstate transfer through Assam and Nagaland; adequate travel time should be kept. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening at leisure or explore the local market if time permits. Overnight stay at Kohima.

5. 5

   Kohima & Khonoma Village

   After breakfast visit Khonoma, the historic Angami village known for its community conservation traditions and terraced landscapes. Return to Kohima and visit the Kohima War Cemetery. Kisama Heritage Village may be visited subject to access and timing. Overnight stay at Kohima.

6. 6

   Kohima → Dimapur Departure

   After breakfast drive to Dimapur Airport / Railway Station for onward departure. Departure timing should allow sufficient road-transfer buffer from Kohima.
