Day-by-day itinerary

   Arrive Guwahati

   Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, transfer to hotel. Visit Kamakhya Temple depending on arrival timing. Optional sunset Brahmaputra River Cruise available. Overnight at Guwahati.

2. 2

   Guwahati → Dirang

   After breakfast begin your scenic drive towards Dirang through the beautiful landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh. Enroute enjoy riverside scenery, mountain viewpoints and lush greenery. Visit Tipi Orchid Centre if time permits. By evening arrive at Dirang surrounded by Himalayan valleys. Overnight at Dirang.

   Dirang → Tawang

   After breakfast proceed towards Tawang via the breathtaking Sela Pass, one of the most scenic high-altitude mountain passes in Northeast India. Enroute visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial, Nuranang Falls and scenic Himalayan viewpoints. By evening arrive at Tawang. Overnight at Tawang.

4. 4

   Bumla Pass & High-Altitude Lakes Excursion

   After breakfast proceed for the Bumla Pass excursion, subject to permit approval, weather and road conditions. Visit Bumla Pass, Sangetsar Lake (Madhuri Lake) and P.T. Tso Lake as operationally feasible. This sector is operated by local authorised / union vehicles from Tawang and is not covered by the main tour vehicle. Return to Tawang by evening. Overnight stay at Tawang.

5. 5

   Tawang → Bomdila

   After breakfast visit Tawang Monastery, Giant Buddha Statue and Tawang War Memorial before starting the drive towards Bomdila. Continue through the scenic Himalayan route and arrive at Bomdila by evening. Overnight stay at Bomdila.

6. 6

   Bomdila → Guwahati · Departure

   After breakfast drive from Bomdila to Guwahati. This is a long mountain-to-plains transfer; only a suitably late evening flight / train should be planned on the same day. For earlier departures, an additional Guwahati night is recommended. Transfer to Airport / Railway Station as per feasible departure timing.
