Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Arrive Guwahati → Shillong

   Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, proceed towards Shillong through the scenic Khasi Hills. Enroute visit the beautiful Umiam Lake surrounded by pine-covered landscapes. By evening arrive at Shillong and explore Police Bazaar. Overnight at Shillong.

2. 2

   Cherrapunji Excursion

   After breakfast explore the breathtaking landscapes of Cherrapunji. Enroute visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak (subject to permission) and Mawkdok Valley Viewpoint. Continue covering Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

3. 3

   Dawki & Mawlynnong Excursion

   Full day excursion towards Dawki and Mawlynnong. Visit the crystal clear Umngot River at Dawki and the Indo Bangladesh Border area. Later explore Mawlynnong Village, popularly known as Asia's cleanest village. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

4. 4

   Shillong → Kaziranga

   After breakfast drive towards Kaziranga National Park through scenic landscapes and countryside views. By evening arrive at Kaziranga. Optional Assamese cultural programme available on direct payment basis. Overnight at Kaziranga.

5. 5

   Kaziranga Safari → Dirang

   Early morning enjoy an exciting Jeep Safari inside Kaziranga National Park famous for the one-horned rhinoceros. After breakfast proceed towards Dirang. Enroute visit Tipi Orchid Centre and Dirang Dzong. By evening arrive at Dirang. Overnight at Dirang.

6. 6

   Dirang → Tawang

   After breakfast visit the peaceful Dirang Monastery before proceeding towards Tawang via the breathtaking Sela Pass. Enroute visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial, Nuranang Falls and scenic Himalayan viewpoints. By evening arrive at Tawang. Overnight at Tawang.

7. 7

   Bumla Pass & Tawang Sightseeing

   Excursion to Bumla Pass and Sangetsar Lake subject to permit and weather conditions. Visit Bumla Pass, Sangetsar Lake and PT Tso Lake. Return to Tawang and continue local sightseeing covering Tawang Monastery, Giant Buddha Statue, War Memorial and local market. Overnight at Tawang.

8. 8

   Tawang → Bomdila

   After breakfast drive towards Bomdila through scenic Himalayan valleys and mountain roads. Enjoy monasteries, viewpoints and beautiful landscapes along the route. Overnight at Bomdila.

9. 9

   Bomdila → Guwahati Departure

   After breakfast drive back towards Guwahati. Visit Kamakhya Temple if time permits. Later transfer to Airport / Railway Station for onward journey with unforgettable memories of Northeast India.
