Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Arrive Guwahati

   Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, transfer to hotel. Visit Kamakhya Temple depending on arrival timing. Optional sunset Brahmaputra River Cruise available. Overnight at Guwahati.

2. 2

   Guwahati → Dirang

   After breakfast begin the scenic drive towards Dirang through the landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh. Enroute enjoy riverside scenery and mountain viewpoints, and visit Tipi Orchid Centre if time permits. Overnight at Dirang.

3. 3

   Dirang → Tawang

   After breakfast visit Dirang Dzong and Dirang Monastery, then proceed towards Tawang via the breathtaking Sela Pass. Enroute visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial, Nuranang Falls and scenic Himalayan viewpoints. Overnight at Tawang.

4. 4

   Bumla Pass & High-Altitude Lakes

   Excursion to Bumla Pass, Sangetsar Lake and PT Tso Lake, subject to permit approval, weather and road conditions. This sector is operated using a separate local authorised / union vehicle from Tawang and is not covered by the main tour vehicle. Charges are extra unless specifically included in the quotation. Overnight at Tawang.

5. 5

   Tawang → Bomdila

   After breakfast visit Tawang Monastery, Giant Buddha Statue and Tawang War Memorial, then drive towards Bomdila through scenic Himalayan valleys. Evening at Bomdila Market. Overnight at Bomdila.

6. 6

   Bomdila → Kaziranga

   After breakfast descend towards the plains of Assam and continue to Kaziranga National Park. Evening at leisure; optional Assamese cultural programme on direct payment basis. Overnight at Kaziranga.

7. 7

   Kaziranga National Park

   An optional Jeep Safari may be arranged, subject to park operation and availability and not included unless specifically selected in the quotation. Later visit Orchid Park, local handicraft centres and nearby tea gardens. Overnight at Kaziranga.

8. 8

   Kaziranga → Shillong

   After breakfast drive towards Shillong through scenic countryside and the Khasi Hills, with a stop at Umiam Lake. Evening at Police Bazaar. Overnight at Shillong.

9. 9

   Cherrapunji Excursion

   Explore the landscapes of Cherrapunji. En route visit Elephant Falls and Mawkdok Valley Viewpoint. Continue to Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

10. 10

    Dawki & Mawlynnong Excursion

    Full day excursion to Dawki and Mawlynnong. Visit the Umngot River at Dawki; water clarity is generally best during the drier winter season and varies with rainfall and river conditions. Continue to the Indo-Bangladesh Border area and Mawlynnong Village. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

11. 11

    Shillong → Guwahati Departure

    After breakfast drive back to Guwahati — a short and comfortable transfer. Visit Kamakhya Temple if time permits, then transfer to Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
