Day-by-day itinerary

   Arrive Guwahati · Transfer to Shillong

   Pickup from Guwahati airport / railway station and scenic drive through the Khasi Hills to Shillong. Photo stop at Umiam Lake surrounded by pine forests. Evening at Police Bazaar — cafés, local shopping and street food. Overnight at Shillong.

2. 2

   Cherrapunji Excursion

   Full day excursion to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. Enroute visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak (subject to permission), and Mawkdok Valley viewpoint. Continue to Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Garden of Caves before returning to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

   Dawki & Mawlynnong Excursion

   Full day excursion to Dawki to see the crystal clear Umngot River where boats appear to float on transparent water in winter. Continue to the Indo-Bangladesh border viewpoint, then visit Mawlynnong — Asia's cleanest village — and the famous Balancing Rock. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

4. 4

   Shillong → Guwahati · Departure

   After breakfast drive back to Guwahati. Visit Kamakhya Temple en route (time permitting). Transfer to airport / railway station for your onward journey.
