Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Arrive Guwahati · Transfer to Shillong

   Pickup from Guwahati and scenic drive through the Khasi Hills to Shillong. Photo stop at Umiam Lake. Evening at Police Bazaar — cafés, handicrafts and local food. Overnight at Shillong.

2. 2

   Dawki & Mawlynnong Excursion

   Full day excursion to the crystal clear Umngot River at Dawki, the Indo-Bangladesh border viewpoint, Mawlynnong (Asia's cleanest village) and the famous Balancing Rock. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight at Shillong.

3. 3

   Shillong → Cherrapunji

   After breakfast drive to Cherrapunji. Enroute visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak (subject to permission) and Mawkdok Valley viewpoint. Continue sightseeing at Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park. Overnight at Cherrapunji.

4. 4

   Cherrapunji Local Experience

   Full day exploring Garden of Caves, Arwah Cave, Wei Sawdong Falls, Dainthlen Falls and Koh Ramhah. Optional: Double Decker Living Root Bridge trek for adventure enthusiasts. Overnight at Cherrapunji.

5. 5

   Cherrapunji → Guwahati · Departure

   After breakfast drive back to Guwahati. Visit Kamakhya Temple en route (time permitting). Transfer to airport / railway station for your onward journey.
