Day-by-day itinerary

   Guwahati Arrival – Transfer to Cherrapunji

   Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, drive towards Cherrapunji. En route visit Umiam Lake, Elephant Falls and Mawkdok Valley Viewpoint as timing permits. On arrival at Cherrapunji, cover selected nearby attractions depending on arrival time; remaining sightseeing should not be guaranteed on this transfer day. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.

2. 2

   Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek

   After an early breakfast, proceed to Tyrna Village, the starting point of the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek. Descend through picturesque villages, dense forests and hanging bridges to reach Nongriat Village, home to the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Spend time exploring the area and enjoying the natural beauty of Meghalaya's living root architecture. Guests may also visit the nearby Rainbow Falls (subject to fitness level and available time). After the trek, return to Tyrna Village and drive back to Cherrapunji. Overnight Stay: Cherrapunji Please Note: The trek involves approximately 3,500 steps downhill and uphill and is recommended only for guests with moderate physical fitness.

   Mawlynnong & Dawki Excursion – Transfer to Shillong

   After breakfast proceed to Mawlynnong Village and later continue to Dawki. Visit the Umngot River; water clarity is generally best during the drier winter season and varies with rainfall and river conditions. Optional boating may be enjoyed on direct payment basis. In the evening drive to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

4. 4

   Shillong – Guwahati Departure

   After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Guwahati. If time permits, visit Ward's Lake, Cathedral Church or local markets in Shillong before departure. Continue to Guwahati and transfer to the Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Tour Ends with Wonderful Memories of Meghalaya's waterfalls, living root bridges, crystal-clear rivers and scenic landscapes.
